Easy Taxi : Une solution pour se deplacer facilement?

Si vous vous grattez la tête et vous vous demandez si le chef de la direction ou l'équipe de marketing de Easy Taxi m'ont payé pour écrire ceci, s' il vous plaît, cessez de vous gratter et sauvegardez cette énergie pour lire et laisser un commentaire, si possible. Je ne vais jamais promouvoir quelque chose que je n'ai pas essayé ou que je ne prévois pas d'essayer. D'ailleurs, je doute fort que les "grands patrons" de Easy Taxi savent même qu'il ya un blog intitulé All Writing Saudi.

Alors, quelle est cette Easy Taxi que toutes mes collègues et amies me chantent à l'oreille?

Si vous êtes comme moi et que vous ne lisez pas les journaux régulièrement ou vous passez la plupart de votre temps à domicile, il y a des fortes chances que vous n'avez pas entendu parler de Easy Taxi et encore moins utiliser leur service.

Ce que je sais (ou ce que j'ai appris)

• Easy Taxi a été lancé au début de cette année. Cliquez sur les liens suivants pour télécharger l'application (c'est gratuit) : Windows Store, Blackberry World, Google Play ou App Store.
• L'application confirme votre emplacement et avec une simple touche, vous avez un taxi en route pour vous chercher.
• Easy Taxi est sécuritaire car tous leurs chauffeurs sont enregistrés auprès de l'entreprise. En plus vous pouvez voir le nom et la photo du chauffeur avant même de demander son service. Si vous n'aimez pas la tête du chauffeur, vous avez le choix de sélectionner une autre personne. Vous avez également la possibilité de parler au conducteur si cela vous fera vous sentir plus à l'aise.
• Vous n'avez pas besoin de vous peiner pour décrire votre position parce que les chauffeurs de Easy Taxi sont équipés de smartphones qui ont une application GPS. En plus, vous pouvez textuellement suivre votre taxi et estimer quand la voiture va arriver devant votre domicile.
• Pas de soucis en ce qui concerne les horaires de tavail. Easy Taxi est disponible 24 sur 24.
• Il n'y a pas de frais cachés. Le chauffeur met le taximètre uniquement lorsque le passager est à bord.

Ce que je ne sais pas

• Les gérants de Easy Taxi affirment qu'ils ne sélectionnent que les bons chauffeurs. Je me demande ce qu'ils entendent par «bon». Est-ce qu'ils conduisent des investigations approfondies de personnalité pour s'assurer que leurs chauffeurs sont moralement sains et qu'ils ont des bonnes intentions? Est-ce qu'ils jugent les «bons» chauffeurs par rapport à leurs compétences de conduite?
• Ils affirment également qu'ils testent leurs chauffeurs pour s'assurer qu'ils respectent les règles d'hygiène. Je me demande s'ils contrôlent les véhicules des dits chauffeurs chaque jour pour s'assurer qu'ils ne fument pas pendant le transport de passagers. Ont-ils testé leurs chauffeurs pour s'assurer que leurs taxis sont propres pendant toute la journée?

Qu'est-ce que je tire de ceci?

Easy Taxi semble être un service prometteur. Je serais tenté d'utiliser leur service si mon conjoint ou chauffeur habituel n'était pas disponible.

If you're scratching your head and wondering whether the CEO or marketing team of Easy Taxi paid me to write this, please stop scratching and save that energy to read on--and post a comment, if possible. I wouldn't promote anything that I haven't tried or that I do not plan to try. Besides, I doubt that the big bosses of Easy Taxi even know that there is a blog called All Writing Saudi. 

So, what's this Easy Taxi thing that every female colleague or friend keeps singing in my ears? 

If you're like me and you don't read the papers regularly or spend most of your time indoors, there are high chances that you haven't heard about Easy Taxi, let alone use their service.

What I know (or what I learnt)

• Easy Taxi was launched early this year. Click on the following links to download the app (it's free): Windows Store, Blackberry World, Google play, or App Store.

• The app confirms your location and with a single tap on "Call Taxi", you'll have a cab running over to pick you up.
• Easy Taxi is safe, as all the drivers are registered with the company and you can see the name and photograph of the driver even before you hire them. If the driver looks like some guy from a thriller that you watched overnight, it's up to you to select another driver. You also have the option to talk to the driver if that makes you feel more comfortable.  
• You do not need to go through the trouble of describing your location because Easy Taxi drivers are equipped with smartphones that have a GPS app. Plus, you can track your taxi and estimate when the car will be waiting for you at your doorstep.
• No worries in the time department. Easy Taxi is available 24 on 24. 
• There are no hidden charges, as the driver sets the taximeter only when the passenger is on board.

What I don't know

• Easy Taxi claims that they select only good drivers. I wonder what they mean by "good". Did they attach a device to would-be drivers heads and ran tests to ensure that they had good intentions and manners? Was the "good" relative to their driving skills? 
• They also claim that their drivers have been tested for safety and hygiene. I wonder whether they test the drivers each day to ensure that they do not smoke while transporting passengers. Do they test their drivers to make sure that their taxis are clean all day long? 

What do I draw from these?

Easy Taxi seems to be a promising service. I would be tempted to use their service if my spouse or longtime chauffeur wasn't available to drive me to my destination. 

The Entertainer Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Ever heard of the Entertainer KSA? No? Neither did I, until I met it on a sunny Thursday earlier this month. It came well wrapped in a package, and I couldn't wait to unwrap it. As I was unveiling the still-to-discover Entertainer KSA, I was wondering what was waiting for me inside. The first thing that greeted me was the orange smiley face on the front cover. My next thought was "Oh boy! You are surely going to be interesting!" 


Now what is the Entertainer about? For those of you who are hearing about it for the first time, the Entertainer is a book that offers 2 for 1 incentives at many fine dining restaurants, casual dining restaurants, informal dining, cafes, attractions, spas, beauty salons and fitness centres. There are over 500 buy one get one free vouchers in the book, just the perfect bargain for a family to enjoy and save money at the same time. 


As I went though the book, I discovered much more than I thought. I was delighted to see that my favourite eateries were listed. More so, there were well-known restaurants (including those at first class hotels and resorts), cafes, take-aways and fitness clubs where you could use the vouchers to gain discount. My next questions were, "So how does this work? How do I benefit from the discounts?" That was when I noticed that in my excitement, I had forgotten to read the Intro and the Rules of Use pages. Aha! First, I had to register the book on the Entertainer website. That was done. I had become an Essential Member, and I was entitled to exclusive member benefits and offers.
